Windows Access Control Lists (ACL)

A list of Access Control Entries (ACE).

The Security Descriptor for a Securable Object can contain two types of ACL:

• Windows Discretionary Access Control List (DACL) for permissions.
• System Access Control List (SACL) for auditing.
