The ability for a server to send multiple responses for a single client request.
This means that after receiving an initial request the server can push additional objects that it assumes the client will need, without the client having to request each one.
Examples
A server can analyze a requested HTML page, identify the objects that are needed and send them to the client before receiving explicit requests for these objects.
Implementations
- HTTP/2
