Hosts are devices connected to the internet through Communication Links and Packet Switches. All of these communicate using Protocols.
These hosts access the Internet through Internet Service Providers (ISPs).
Hosts are attached to the internet by a Socket that specifies how a program running on one host asks the internet infrastructure to deliver data to a specific programming running on another end system.
Hosts can be divided into Clients and Servers.
